A New Champion Approaches...?A New Champion Approaches...?
A League of Legends Short
Ezreal paced the League hallways, sighing with boredom as he waited for his turn to be summoned. "To think I have to be here all week..." he groaned, annoyed. "I can't stand when novice summoners call me to the Fields. A true display of skill...? I don't think so."
A girl with dragon features floated down the hallway; she was looking for the explorer. It was easy enough to spot his bright yellow hair from a distance, so she sped towards him with a toothy grin. "Hey, Ezreal! So you have to stay at the League today? That sucks."
The young man turned to the black-haired girl, surprised to see her in such a place. "Why did you come here? It's against the rules for non-champions to be in the lounge, you should leave bef--" An announcement over the speakers interrupted him, "Summoning is imminent. Champions, prepare for battle!"
The lounge doors slammed shut as several other champions stood up, shooting curious glares towa

A Melody of Hope
Ezreal was returned to Heaven's Peak and immediately he was lifted by a pair of golden-feathered harpies. "We will carry you to Andeka Fortress. The world outside has fallen to darkness the sun has been blotted out by the power of the new King's dark spirits. His armies approach the bordering countries... but his shadow is far more dangerous than he." One of the harpies spoke as she helped carry Ezreal out of Heaven's Peak.
They flew through the clouds, and once they reached the outside world there was nothing but darkness to be seen. The sun was no more; only a thick shroud of darkness remained in its place. This is terrible... Ezreal thought.
Time passes and the harpies arrive with Ezreal at Andeka Fortress; a great storm is raging over the city and the smell of fresh blood fills the air. "We wish you luck, Ezreal. Farewell," The harpies said with a bow and then went on their way, vanishing into the stormy darkness.

6 Unexpected Kindness
The next day, Sakura awakes with a violent cough and headache. "Ugh... must have gotten L's cold..." She sniffled, rubbing her nose and staring up at the burning lights. She covered her eyes with her arm and wished the sickness away. There's no more of that medicine left either... I gave L the last of it. That's what I get for being nice, huh?
Minutes later she heard the sound of L's voice, "Hey, I feel much better today. Care to make me some tea, or are you too lazy?" Sakura groaned and rolled over, "I don't feel good..." She muttered, hoping that he would leave her alone. "Oh..." His pause made Sakura wonder if he was upset or concerned. "That is unfortunate." He walked away without another word.
Time passed and Sakura didn't move from the couch in hopes that a day of rest would help her to recover. As evening came and went, eventually L approached her and tapped her shoulder. "I'll leave this here," He said flatly,

5 A Curious Spark
After L and Sakura shared the cake in silence, the girl left and decided to rest for the night. I wonder if he liked the cake? She sighed, still feeling embarrassed that she has to play the part of L's personal maid. I can't wear this all the time... I'm going to need some new clothes.
She rolled over on the couch, putting a pillow over her head to block out the light in the room. Maybe I can convince them to let me go shopping... a girl can't live without a few changes of clothes! With a sigh, she closed her eyes. Am I really trying to get USED to this new life? Maybe part of me likes it... I don't know.
There were too many questions floating around in her mind it was impossible to answer them all logically. Sakura chose to sleep for now and leave the questions for the next day, but she was hopeful that her new way of life was only going to get better.
The next day, she woke up and did not see L in the kitchen; she

Sakura decided to go back to the couch where she had slept earlier to relax for a while. She reflected on the day's events and ascertained that her situation might not have been as bad as she first thought. At least I'm not handcuffed anymore.
She was looking for positives now instead of being gloomy and annoyed. I got to eat some delicious cake... and I guess that old guy is going to give me a present! I wonder what it will be? I'm so curious.
She yawned and laid down on the couch, staring up at the rusty metal ceiling. Guess I'll try to sleep for a bit. Today went by pretty fast... I wonder how many days it will be before I can leave? Maybe it will be weeks, months... years?
She shuddered. No, gotta think positive, Sakura. I should try to make that cake tomorrow... L seems to love sweets, so if I make a really tasty cake he might let me go free! Oh, I'm a genius! This plan will definitely work.
The young woman fell asleep,
2 - What Has Been Lost...You step out into the cool, bright field outside of the cave and stare up at cloudless sky. Strange images flash in your mind and you feel uneasy.
Stooping down to the ground, you put a hand on your head and try to sort the images in your mind. In time you realize that some of the visions are real, while some are not.
"What's wrong with me...?" You mutter, trying to free yourself of the chaos.
Ezreal helps you up and is at a loss for words. "We need to get somewhere safe, Mareina. This is enemy territory."
"...What do you mean, 'enemy territory'? Is there some sort of war going on?" Your head is spinning right now you couldn't care less about some war, you just want to feel normal again.
He leads you forward, "I'll talk to you on the way back to the city. We're not too far from safety, okay? Try not to think too much, Mareina. I'm sorry, but I can't explain more until we get out of here."
Should you trust him? Maybe he is leading you away to somewhere even worse than the monster
1 - Fleeing the Jaws of FateThe ground is shaking, shaking...
There is someone something approaching. A war is coming... you have to get away, or be consumed by the darkness.
Is it a nightmare... or something real? You can't seem to remember how you got into this situation, but you know you have to get out.
It is futile to run; you can't outrun its voracious jaws. The darkness is closing in around you as you flee through the cramped tunnel. Is there no hope for you...? With a shriek you leap forward as the hungry maw nearly clamps around you and devours you whole.
"Someone help me!" You cry out at the top of your lungs.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but you trip over a rock and fall forward as the monster gallops towards you. You are quivering as you roll over and stare into the eyes of the beast your body is paralyzed with fear. There is no way you can escape now.
All that is left is to accept the cruel fate that has been delivered so unfairly to you. You clasp your hands
Dominion DominanceHey Ezreal, it's time for another League match. Are you ready? The voice of a female summoner filled the explorer's mind. He shrugged and sipped the last bit of his coffee as he relaxed in the League lounge. "Sure, bring it on. I guess we're off to the Crystal Scar again?" Yeah, that's right. The last match didn't go too well, so I hope this time we can win. "Heh, you didn't summon me last time. Now that I'm here, this will be a piece of cake," he said with a confident grin.
Nothing ever dampens your attitude, does it...? I think you're right though. We never lose when we fight together! He stood up and raised an eyebrow, confused by the summoner's voice in his mind. "Hey, what? Now you're sounding all sap--"
There was no time to talk now, the summoning was imminent. Ezreal faded from the League lounge and was transported to the Crystal Scar along with four other allied champions. He felt dizzy even after countless times of being summoned to the Fields of Ju
